Association for Career & Technical Education (ACTE)

ACTE provides a strong collective voice for professionals representing all facets of career and technical education. ACTE supports you and your CTE programming, initiatives and innovations by providing a rich array of professional development resources, events and networking opportunities.

Career & Technical Educators of Idaho (CTEI)

The professional association for Career Technical Educators, Administrators and Stakeholders in Idaho. CTEI represents all CTE stakeholders at local, regional, and state events and advocate for high-quality CTE programs. 

Idaho Career & Technical Education Foundation (IDCTEF)

The Foundation was established by Dr. Larry G. Selland in 1983 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation under the laws of the State of Idaho. The Foundation was created for the sole purpose of stimulating and promoting quality Career-Technical Education within the state of Idaho. The Foundation is self-sustaining and relies entirely on private donations. It is not the purpose of this Foundation to supplant (nor does it receive) state and federal funds appropriated for Career & Technical Education.

Idaho State Department of Education (SDE)

The Idaho State Department of Education (SDE) is a government agency supporting schools and students. SDE is responsible for implementing policies, distributing funds, administering statewide assessments, licensing educators, and providing accountability data. SDE delivers leadership, expertise, research, and technical assistance to school districts and schools to promote the academic success of students.

National Resources

NAPE

The National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity offers research-based, strategy-driven, practical-application-focused professional development services that equip educators with tools to address specific school needs related to equitable learning environments, student academic success and ultimately, college and career readiness.

Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTA)

Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE) administers, coordinates programs that are related to adult education and literacy, career and technical education, and community colleges.

Perkins Collaborative Resource Network (PCRN)

The Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act which
amended the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education (Perkins IV) Act of 2006
was signed into law on July 31, 2018. The amended Act, now Perkins V, brings changes to the $1.2 billion annual federal investment in career and technical education (CTE).
