Important nondiscrimination requirements
Career exploration should help every student discover opportunities that align with their interests and goals.
When creating marketing materials and providing career guidance, ensure information is presented fairly and equitably. A student’s race, color, national origin, sex or disability should never be used to suggest, limit or predict participation in a career or program.
Marketing materials
Use these tools to create consistent, effective CTE marketing materials for students, families and community members.
CTE photos
High-quality photos help students see themselves in CTE programs and generate interest in available opportunities. Choose images that reflect your student population and represent a variety of learners and career pathways. Whenever possible, include students participating in nontraditional fields, such as women in welding or men in nursing.
Use your own photos or request access to a limited collection of IDCTE-provided images. Once approved, you’ll receive access to a password-protected folder containing images organized by program area.
