Building and Achieving Success in Idaho Chapters (BASIC) brings together chapter leaders from Idaho’s career technical student organizations (CTSOs) for leadership development, team building and networking. Students and advisors participate in sessions that build leadership skills, strengthen chapters and prepare for the year ahead.

Tentative schedule

  • 7:30 a.m.: Registration
  • 8-8:30 a.m.: Welcome
  • 8:40 a.m.: Officers present program of work workshop to members
  • Choose Your Own Adventure: Attendees select from seven or eight leadership workshops.
  • 9:45-10:15 a.m.: Round 1
  • 10:20-10:50 a.m.: Round 2
  • 11-11:30 a.m.: Round 3
  • 11:30 a.m.-noon: Round 4
  • Noon-1 p.m.: Lunch and networking
  • Noon-2 p.m.: Postsecondary working lunch and session
  • 1-1:30 p.m.: CTSO time
  • 1:35-2 p.m.: Closing and wrap-up
