Idaho’s Workforce Readiness and Career Technical Education Diploma recognizes students who complete a career technical education (CTE) pathway and demonstrate college and career-readiness.

Students meet graduation requirements while building technical and workplace skills aligned with industry needs.

Key terms

Pathway: A sequence of CTE courses that leads to a capstone course.

Microcredential: A verified demonstration of skill, awarded as a digital badge through SkillStack®.

Industry certification: A credential recognized by business and industry at the local, state or national level.
