Retakes for the Technical Skills Assessment (TSA) close. The retake is available 14 days after the post-test is taken and must be completed by May 30th. The $8 test cost is paid for by the school. Responsibility for test ticket creation falls to IDCTE for semesters and to the school for trimesters. More Information

Hazmat Awareness and Operations training enables first responders to recognize, identify, and defensively manage hazardous materials (HazMat) or weapons of mass destruction (WMD) incidents. Based on NFPA 470 standards, the training covers identifying hazards, initiating protective actions, and performing initial control measures (Operations) to protect people, property, and the environment.
This 2-day course is designed to develop the decision-making skills needed by Company Officers (COs) to accomplish assigned tactics at structure fires.
