The Workforce Readiness Incentive (WRI) rewards secondary career technical education (CTE) programs for student achievement in workforce readiness.

Who is eligible

  • Local education agencies with approved secondary pathway programs
  • Programs funded through career technical centers aren’t eligible

How funding is determined

Funding is based on the number of students who:

Programs must offer the TSA to qualify.

How funds can be used

  • Retain CTE teachers
  • Purchase industry-standard equipment
  • Provide student workforce experiences

Important deadlines

  • Expenditure reports are due June 30.

Unspent funds must be returned to the Idaho Division of Career Technical Education.
