Fire Departments,<\/p>\n

Fireworks America will be giving a class on how to inspect aerial firework\u00a0displays at The Public Safety Training Center in Meridian, Idaho on April 26th, 2024<\/strong>.\u00a0 This will be based on rules and regulations of Idaho Laws, NFPA 1123, American Pyrotechnic Association, Pyrotechnic Guild International, and Trade Standards.\u00a0 This class is a great refresher for those who have been inspecting for years and for those who have never inspected before.\u00a0 We will include hands-on training on what to look for, good and bad.\u00a0 Please know that we will not be teaching Fire Departments how to shoot fireworks or our company policies.\u00a0 This class is solely about how to inspect and ensure your firework companies are being safe for everyone.<\/p>\n

Since we only have emails to the Fire Departments we deal with on a regular basis, we\u00a0would appreciate it if this email could be passed on to other Fire Departments.<\/p>\n

The attachment has the same details as this email for the convenience\u00a0of sharing the inspection of aerial fireworks displays training class with others.<\/p>\n

Cost:\u00a0<\/strong>$75 per person (lunch & certificate of completion provided) invoices will be sent out after RSVP.<\/p>\n

Who<\/strong>: Anyone who inspects aerial firework\u00a0display sites.\u00a0 Directed more towards Fire Chiefs and Fire Marshals\/Inspectors.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: The Public Safety Training Center, 1223 E. Watertower Street, Meridian, Idaho 83642<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>:\u00a0 9:00 am to about 4:00 pm (lunch will be provided)<\/p>\n

9:30AM – 12:00PM Seminar Briefings (classroom with breaks)<\/p>\n

1:00PM – 2:00PM Seminar Briefings (classroom with breaks)<\/p>\n

2:00PM – 4:00PM Hands-on inspecting a site (outdoors)<\/p>\n

**Optional<\/strong>** April 27th, at 1:00 PM, We welcome Fire Departments to come see a live demo of shooters firing as Fireworks America will be putting on the Safety Seminar for firework display operators and crew.\u00a0 We will demonstrate duds, misfires, flower pots, and other malfunctions. This demonstration site will be announced during the inspection training class.<\/p>\n
