BASIC FIRE INVESTIGATION<\/strong><\/p>\nThis 20-hour course of instruction is presented by the Idaho State Fire
\nMarshal\u2019s Office. It utilizes the core curriculum from the National Fire Academy
\nin addition to \u201chands on experience:\u201d Students will be introduced to the
\ncomplexities of fire investigation and gain an understanding of all the aspects in
\ndetermining the origin and cause of fires. Students will also be able to determine
\nwhen it is necessary to involve outside resources for a successful resolution.<\/p>\n
Students must have personal protective equipment to include Helmet, Gloves,
\nSturdy boots, and Eye Protection.<\/p>\n
