Each assignment in the manual includes:

This version of the ACM can be filtered by program area and specific programs.

The Idaho Division of Career Technical Education (IDCTE) educator certification team oversees the ACM. The IDCTE educator certification and program quality staff are available to provide technical assistance to local education agencies (LEAs) regarding misalignments (also referred to as assignment deficiencies). Middle School

Use the assignments listed below to report CTE teaching assignments in Grades 6-8, regardless of the course title used by your school.

If you have a combined class (i.e., Grades 8 and 9), create two separate sections using the appropriate codes.

DO NOT use the Idaho Department of Education’s 20005 exploratory code for CTE-certified instructors. Using the Idaho Department of Education code when an individual holds only CTE certification will result in a misalignment error, which may result in a reduced Foundation Payment and CTE program funding.

Other Assignments

Use the assignments listed below for coding CTE or non-CTE administrative assignments, as well as other CTE instructional or non-instructional assignments in grades 9-12, when no other assignment code under the ‘Program Areas’ tab more accurately describes the assignment.

Endorsement Lookup

Use the Idaho Department of Education’s Certification Lookup Application to view your endorsements and identify which assignments you are qualified to teach based on those endorsements.
