Transition to College & Career
Taking the next step
The transition from high school to college is an exciting and challenging time.
COVID-19 and Postsecondary Assessments (4/29/2020):
Normally, postsecondary testing is required for the majority of our pathways. This year, postsecondary testing is optional, based on the decisions of the postsecondary program and faculty. This allows postsecondary faculty and institutions the flexibility to test students if needed. Given the circumstances and the various levels a student may have progressed through their pathway, teachers can contact their Transition Coordinator to determine if postsecondary testing will be required for students to obtain credit in their program area

CTE programs start in high school and provide postsecondary opportunities.
Our Transition Coordinators are experts in helping you channel what you learned in your high school CTE classes into an appropriate technical college program. Contact them. They want to help you, and answer your questions (it’s their job, and they care). They know all about the programs at their college, and can help you connect your passion and drive with a course of study. Feel free to reach out to them!
