The social media campaign, “Making a Difference Through Family & Consumer Sciences,” highlights a different theme and strategies that can be carried out through family and consumer sciences education programs (school-based or community-based) each month, all focused on recognizing the importance of both family and consumer sciences educators and programs. Family and Consumer Sciences professionals, advocates, and ESPECIALLY program participants can reach out to their respective social media networks–therefore reaching other prospective family and consumer sciences educators!
Engaging in communications via social media networks or in person, ensures the FCS educator recruitment message reaches future professionals which are critical to the success of this national campaign.
