By Adrian San Miguel January 17, 2017

On January 6th, 2017, Mrs. Obama hosted the third annual School Counselor of the Year ceremony at the White House. As part of the event, Mrs. Obama gave her final remarks as First Lady, offering a powerful tribute to the work so many educators like yourself have done for students and a call to action to carry the work forward into 2017 and beyond.

Idaho’s very own Counselor of the Year recipient Jeralyn Mire, Postsecondary Transition Counselor at Sandpoint High School (right of First Lady Michelle Obama) attended the Reach Higher & Counselor of the Year Event.
